From 8 PM to 2 AM on Friday 26 April in the Nevada City Odd Fellows Hall, experience Kiss Me Again, a cultural and analog renaissance.

Inspired by The Loft parties of the 1970s inNew York City, this musical communal experience aims to respond to our longing for
authenticity and a desire to experience a warm and richer, more organic listening experience.
Kiss Me Again is born as a cultural renaissance that pays homage toanalog sound in an age dominated by music streaming and digital
downloads.
Featuring a heritage Klipschorn Sound System and vinyl selectors
from all over the globe, this unique series of events represents a
creative and aesthetic declaration that reshapes our perception
of music as a complete encounter, merging acoustic
sophistication, the tactile experience of vinyl records, and the
visual allure of a different kind of dance floor.

On Thursday January 4 from 5 to 7 PM the Seven Stars Gallery and Nevada County Arts Council host a Creatives Meet Up

Come mingle with the Arts Council and some Odd Fellows. Learn about exciting events on the horizon for the Arts Council and Seven Stars. Your opportunity to share your needs and vision s they relate to the arts. Beverages and snacks provided. The event is free.

On Friday December 22 the Nevada City Odd Fellows present a Winter Solstice Ritual Concert with music by Brightside Blue in the Odd Fellows Hall

Featuring a collaborative Altar, a spiral dance, community connection and song and space to reflect and dream.

Doors open at 6:30 PM, ritual begins at 7:00

$15 donation.

Music composed by Thomas De Hartmann to melodies created by the spiritual master George Gurdjieff performed by members of the Sierra Gurdjieff Study Group with narration by Paul Jordan-Smith and Ellen Reynard, piano by Alan Feeney. Suggested donation $20-$10 sliding scale, no one turned away.
